The entry video must be one single take, no edits. Your entry video must be on the apparatus you intend to perform on. The time limit for your video is 2 minutes. You do not need to start on the ground or at the beginning of a sequence, you are welcome to cut the beginning/end of a video to be the best section of a longer sequence if you like. You cannot stop and then restart the video.
The more you can showcase your skills, the better. All applications are scored based on both the story idea and the video entry. All video entries are scored on the following:
Flow
Originality
Combos
Open level entries will also be scored on strength and flexibility.

We highly recommend making your video entry your best work, there are limited spaces for competitors and it's better to put your best foot forward to avoid disappointment! We also recommend making the most of your 2 minute time limit for your entry video. Any floorwork section (e.g. dance on the ground) will not be included in scoring, only the part of the video using the apparatus will be scored. For the avoidance of doubt, flow on the ground using the apparatus will be scored.
You do not need the final choreography for your routine, and you don't need to represent your story (or any story). If this helps you perform at your best, you're more than welcome to keep a theme in your head, but this isn't something we're looking for in the scoring.
You do not need to perform to music, but again you're welcome to do so if it helps you. The same goes for a costume - if it helps you put forward your best self, we encourage dressing up for your video.
